Members of the 11th generation of the "Marko Babić" Leadership Development Center are participating this week in the maritime part of the training on the island of Korčula, housed in the former barracks "Privala" near Vela Luka.
Alongside the members of the Center, the training is also attended by members of the Marine Infantry Company trained as divers, providing security and support during water activities.
Contents of the maritime phase of the training
The maritime phase of the training, which lasts a week, includes various activities: crossing water obstacles, rowing, capsizing a boat, making an Australian raft, with which the members swim in uniform, jumping from a Croatian Navy ship, and close quarters battle (CQB), which is performed in complete darkness in an underground tunnel.
Among the 28 members of the 11th generation of the "Marko Babić" Leadership Development Center are also two members of the Slovenian Army, who once again show exceptional will and desire for learning.
After the maritime part, the training continues in the "Josip Jović" barracks in Udbina, where the focus shifts to mountaineering activities and various tasks in mountainous and hilly environments.
