Exploring historical towns and nature walks
Central Istria free walk tour is one of the activities held during September, offering visitors the opportunity to explore historical sites such as Pićan, Gračišće, Pazin, Sveti Petar u Šumi, Tinjan, and Sveti Lovreč. These guided tours, which are free and available until September 15th, allow visitors to discover the hidden treasures of central Istria, from historical buildings to picturesque streets and mysterious stories that bring to life the spirit of past times. Walks are held from Monday to Thursday, each day in a different town, and participants have the chance to experience an authentic adventure through the stories of local guides. 

Cultural events and performances
For theater enthusiasts, on September 6th in Pazin, the play "Duhi" by Drago Gervaisa will be performed. This dramatic performance, which has become synonymous with preserving the Chakavian cultural heritage, will delight all who appreciate the richness of the local dialect and tradition. The performance will take place in the large hall of the Pazin Memorial Home and starts at 8:00 PM. Tickets can be purchased in advance or on the day of the performance, and the event provides visitors with a deep insight into Istrian history and culture through a unique performance. 

Dance and music under the stars
For dance lovers, September in Sveti Petar u Šumi brings a special event – a Latino dance party in front of the Croatian sausage house. On September 5th, with DJ Fabrizio and his small bachata school, visitors will have the chance to enjoy passionate Latino rhythms and dance under the open sky. But that's not all. The following weekend, September 6th and 7th, the Summer Night Fair with Sausage in the EU will be held, where visitors can enjoy the best local gastronomic offerings, with musical performances by Etaloni band, klapa Nevera, Opća opasnost, and Remix band. These events combine dance, music, and food, creating an atmosphere that reflects the essence of Istrian lifestyle. 

Celebration of 100 years of Pašareta
One of the most anticipated events in September is the celebration of the 100th anniversary of Pašareta, a beloved drink in Istria. On September 7th at 6:30 PM, a birthday party will be held at the Freedom Square in Pazin, featuring performances by Iva Gortan, Mate Pilat, Robert Meister, and the legendary Gustafi. Along with music and dance, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy an atmosphere that celebrates the tradition and history of this iconic drink. The evening will end with a performance by DJ Denis Goldin and saxophonist Tonči Trinajstić, who will further elevate the mood. 

Music program with natural beauty
For nature and music lovers, September 8th is reserved for a special event at the Sopotski Falls. After a 4-kilometer walk through the beautiful landscape, visitors will be able to enjoy local food and drink offerings, as well as a concert by Robert Mikuljan and a performance by the Ethno group Šćike. This event, set in one of the most beautiful natural settings in Istria, provides a perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy the sounds of traditional Istrian music under the stars.
