In September 2024, the Tourist Board of the City of Zagreb organizes a series of free thematic walks aimed at Zagreb residents who wish to get to know their city in more detail. The sightseeing program includes five different tours covering various aspects of Zagreb’s culture, history, and urban development. These guided walks last approximately two hours and take place on Saturdays and Sundays, in the morning and afternoon. The number of participants is limited, so registration is required. The tours are held from September 7 to September 29, and each tour focuses on a specific aspect of life in Zagreb.

Bohemian walk through Zagreb
This tour takes participants through the historical streets of Zagreb, highlighting the role of key artists who shaped the city’s cultural identity. Visitors will learn more about writers, composers, and sculptors such as August Šenoa, Vatroslav Lisinski, and Ivan Meštrović. It takes place on Sundays, September 8, 15, 22, and 29, starting at 6 PM at the monument to Andrija Kačić Miošić on Mesnička Street.
