Pilots of the Croatian Air Force (HRZ) continue with planned flight exercises. Today, on July 1, 2024, from 11:00 to 13:00, Croatian Air Force pilots will conduct regular flight activities in the areas of Zagreb, Bjelovar-Bilogora, Koprivnica-Križevci, Požega-Slavonia, Osijek-Baranja, and Virovitica-Podravina counties. During these activities, breaking the sound barrier at an altitude above 10,000 meters can be expected, with strict adherence to all safety measures.
Safety measures and regulations
All activities are carried out within the prescribed flight zones according to the regulations and rules governing the use of airspace in the Republic of Croatia. These measures ensure safety and minimize risks during flight exercises.
Sound barrier and increased noise
Breaking the sound barrier may cause short-term increased noise. The Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Croatia thank citizens for their support to the pilots during their training and ask for patience and understanding due to the potential increase in noise.
Rafale in the Croatian Air Force
With the arrival of the Rafale in the Croatian military, a new chapter in the surveillance and protection of the airspace of the Republic of Croatia has begun. This advancement significantly contributes to the security of all Croatian citizens and ensures a high level of airspace protection.
